Chris Koeppen combines the art of boudoir photography with classical fantasy elements and digital painting to create stories within the worlds his clientele express to him.

He graduated college with a degree in cinema media arts, and soon became an established wedding photographer, having one of the weddings he captured end up in TIME Magazine as the wedding of the year. He additionally began to delve into fashion photography and design at a local company. After 5 years, he decided to pursue a goal of combining the boudoir genre with fantasy photography. In spring of 2021, he established An Ethereal Fire; a place welcoming all people to express themselves, free of judgement, as art.

Chris lives in Southern California and continues to create new art daily.
